Mountain biking around Pienza

Itinerary:
This is a self guided one day bike ride by mountain bike. You only rent the bike with helmet and water bottle and we will provide you the map, instruction and suggestion for nice stop.
The start point is our warehouse in Pienza - we are exactly 2 km from the centre of village. Is possible come by car and park in our private parking. Also bus stop from Siena or from Montepuciano. Once arrived we make the bike fitting and introduce to the ride and map.
First you reach Pienza by bike and than after a 4 km downhill on a secondary asphalt road  you start your off road ride. The first part is easy, not hilly and after 6 km you arrive at Palazzo Massaini – then you take the direction to Monticchiello and enjoy a long downhill followed – at this point you can stop in a cheese factory and organic farm Il Casale. The road to Monticchiello last part is uphill. After the visit you can go back to Pienza still on off road cycling on the panoramica road – beautiful landscape and scenery. Again is a downhill followed by uphill to the village. The white road end just in front of Porta al Giglio. Rest in Pienza and you have only to come back our warehouse 2 km downhill!!
