Itinerary:
Day One: Tremolat Arrival at airport (Bergerac) or train station (Brive) transfer to Millac at your hotel In the heart of the Périgord, in the wilds, La Métairie will appeal to you, with its rural and stylish side at the same time. It is an attractive soft-stone manor set on a grassy plateau. – fitting of bikes An aperitif in the hotel garden precedes an Introductory Talk and Welcome Dinner.

Day Two: Bergerac total distance 72 km easy to moderate circular
Bike ride from Tremolat to Bergerac via Lalinde skirting the river Dordogne . Pedal through French farm country along Dordogne river to Bergerac. We plan to stop just outside the town and enter with the van. Visit of town and wine tasting at wine museum lamaison du vin Come back bike by panoramic quiet road. Dinner at “bistrot d’en face” in the small village of Tremolat Overnight in Millac- Tremolat hotel Le metairie.
Day Three: Les Eyzies de Tayac total distance 74 km – shorter option 50 km
Departure from hotel on the road we stop at Cadouin, Limeuil and arrive at the medieval village of Les Eyzies de Tayac – Les Eyzies and the Vezere valley is world capital of prehistory – billed as the “Vallee de l’homme” this area is home to the greats concentration of prehistoric site in Europe. Day Four: Domme, Vitrac & jardin - total distance 66 km
Today ride from Sarlat passing castles: Laroque Cageac and Domme, one of the best examples of a medieval 'Bastide' town in France, famous for its panoramic view over the Dordogne valley. St-Geniès with its partly ruined chateau and fortress-like church, all constructed from the same warm-yellow stone under heavy lauze roofs

Day five:Rocamadour
Bike Ride to Meyronne via Souillac, Lacave Rocamadour total distance 66 km
Today the ride is challenging due to 10 km long uphill to Rocamadour. The spectacular pilgrimage town of Rocamadour where seven religious sanctuaries are built almost vertically into a rock backdrop. Dinner at farm Le quatre season

Day Six: Gouffre de Padirac
Circular bike ride from Meyrone: Alvignac, Rignac, Lavergne, Gouffre de padirac, Carennac on the river, Montvalent Total distance 68 km
Carennac is without doubt one of the most beautiful villages along this part of the Dordogne valley. It sits on a terrace above the river’s south bank and is best known for its typical Quercy architecture & Gouffre de Padirac: the local legend holds the devil responsible for opening the gaping mouth of the Gouffre in the middle of the limestone plateau, the hole is over 30 meters wide and 75 meters deep.
