We bike coastal roads through Adriatic fishing ports, then venture inland past olive groves, vineyards and grazing sheep. And enjoy country cuisine: abundant seafood, fresh vegetables, homemade pasta and outstanding bred pane. Romanesque churches and charming Trulli – squat houses of whitewashed stone unique conical roofs.
Itinerary:
Day One: Bari - Polignano Mare
Meet at Bari airport. Transfer town of Polignano. Check into your rooms at our hotel Il covo dei Saraceni. Meet your guides during a bike-fitting session. Welcome dinner at restaurant of hotel

Grotte di Castellana (considered the deepest caverns) in Italy, the Fig and vut trees, cactus plants and herb gardens fill our path with color and fragrances. Visit the grotte, a 3 km walking. Until the discovery in 1938 the caves were used to put vinacce: dregs of pressed grapes. Continue to
Monopoli, a costal town with a beautiful aragonese castle.

Day Three: Ostuni
Length: 50 km.
From Monopoli to Ostuni skirting the cost: Torre egnazia ruins, where you can see ancient wagon wheel tracks that along part of the old roman road via traiana - Savelletri, Torre a Canne and arrive to Ostuni. It is a charming hamlet whose whitewashed arches and houses are neatly piled like sugar cubes with beautiful examples of Baroque and renaissance architecture. Our hotel is in the historic center.

Day Four: Alberobello Length: 50 km.
Roll along a scenic route to Fasano and Cisternino, a little known village with spectacular views of the Val d'Itria. Your goal is Alberobello a world heritage site and known for nearly conical shaped white 1,000 Trulli dating back to the 13th century, this particular houses are painted with strange symbols on their roofs and framed by rich green farmland.

day five: Coast & Lecce Length: 50 km.

We start from hotel and pass Mesagne, Tuturano and the cost at San Cataldo port. We will drive into Lecce, the pink city, the Florence of the Baroque, the gleaming gem of Apulia. You will love the tiny roads that sometimes seem like bike paths. Once at Lecce an historic local guide will let you enjoy a beautiful sightsee. Special Italian pizza cooking lesson at Torre di Merlino the best pizzeria in town.

Day Six: Santa cesarea & zinzalusa Length: 60 km
Transfer to San Cataldo on the coast and ride passing Otranto: the old town center is the first compulsory stop to discover beautiful spots and views striking for the southern aspect of the houses, painted in bright colors and enclosed in the wall fortifications overlooking the south bank of the harbor. We pass Santa Cesarea hot spring and our goal is Grotta Zinzalusa it is a fantastic grotta on the seaside where is possible have a great seafood lunch overlooking the panorama.
